Terms of Service
SetToGig is currently offered as a private pilot to a small number of invited bands. By creating an account, joining a band, or otherwise using SetToGig, you agree to these terms.
The service
SetToGig is a scheduling and coordination tool for bands: gigs, rehearsals, RSVPs, lineup assignments, and related notifications. It is provided as-is during this pilot phase and may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable while we're actively developing it.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide (your name, instruments, RSVP responses, and so on). You may create your own band or join a band through an invitation or other access method provided by SetToGig. You may not share your SetToGig account with another person — each musician using SetToGig needs their own account.
Acceptable use
Don't use SetToGig to:
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a band.
- Access or attempt to access another band's data without authorization.
- Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.
- Send abusive bulk invitations, spam, or otherwise misuse the invite system in an automated way, including repeatedly inviting or contacting someone who has made clear they don't want to receive invitations.
Band admin responsibilities
If you create or administer a band, you're responsible for using member information appropriately and for inviting only people you reasonably believe are connected to or intended to participate with your band.
No warranty
SetToGig is provided during this pilot without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk, and it should not be treated as your only record of gig details — always confirm important details (pay, call time, venue) directly with your band.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SetToGig and Fieldstone Digital will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including a missed gig, rehearsal, or notification. Our total liability for any claim relating to the pilot will not exceed the amount you paid to use SetToGig during the pilot, if any. Nothing in these terms limits any liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Termination and account deletion
We may suspend or terminate access to the pilot at any time, particularly if these terms are violated. You may stop using SetToGig, or ask us to delete your account, at any time. When you request deletion, some information may remain for a limited time — for example in backups, or where reasonably required for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or record-integrity purposes — before it's fully removed.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as SetToGig develops, including during the move from pilot to a public release. We'll update the date at the top when that happens, and for material changes we'll try to let you know by an appropriate means, such as an in-app notice or email. Continued use of SetToGig after a change takes effect can constitute acceptance of the updated terms, where appropriate.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
