Start an urgent opening
Only the band Owner or delegated Admin can manage Find a Sub for an event. Open the event’s Session Musicians area, choose Find a Sub, select the needed role, and follow the app’s invitation flow for one or more musicians.
Invite the right people
You can invite more than one musician to the same opening. Use the available previous-musician choices when they fit the role, or add a new invitee. Share a Copy Invite only with the intended musician.
First valid acceptance fills the opening
The first valid invited musician to confirm they can play fills the opening. Once it is filled, later invitees see that the position is no longer available or filled. A filled opening depends on an invited musician accepting it.
Review the confirmed lineup
When the opening is filled, the confirmed musician appears in the event lineup. Regular members can see the lineup result, while opening and pending-invite management remains an Owner or delegated Admin task.
Troubleshooting
If an opening has expired, been cancelled, or is already filled, create or manage a current opening from the event if you have the required band role. Invitees should use the verified account that received the invitation.
