Respond to an event
Open a Gig or Rehearsal and select your RSVP response. The implemented responses are Yes, Maybe, and No. Before you respond, the event can show Waiting.
RSVP and event assignment are separate. Your response says whether you can attend; the lineup records what you are assigned to play.
Review status and conflicts
Event details and the lineup show responses for the people involved. If SetToGig detects a possible conflict or a schedule conflict, it warns you before finalizing a Yes response. You can review the warning and decide how to respond; SetToGig does not choose between commitments for you.
Add a blackout period
- Open your profile’s Availability section.
- Choose Add Blackout Period.
- Add the start and end date, using all-day or timed availability as appropriate.
- Add an optional private note, then save the blackout period.
You can edit or remove a blackout period later from Availability.
What your band can see
Your band admin sees the availability result—Available or Unavailable—not the private note attached to a blackout period. A blackout period is a planning signal only; you are still responsible for your own RSVP.
Troubleshooting
If an RSVP change does not save, check your connection and try again. If you cannot find Availability, make sure you are signed in to the account you use for the band.
