Create an Important Update
When an Owner or delegated Admin edits an event, SetToGig can treat a meaningful change as an Important Update. The update shows the previous and new event values together so participants can review what changed.
View and acknowledge an update
Participants who can view the event can view its Important Updates. When an update needs acknowledgement, a participant who did not author it can choose GOT IT. The author does not receive their own acknowledgement prompt; they see that they made the update instead.
What admins can review
Owners and delegated Admins can review acknowledgement progress for the event. Regular members can acknowledge their own required updates but do not receive the management view of everyone else’s acknowledgement status.
Use device notifications
SetToGig may notify your device about relevant band activity when notifications are enabled. After band activation, follow the app’s prompt to enable notifications and then allow them in your device settings if you want to receive them.
Notifications can point you back to the relevant event, but the event itself remains the place to review the current details.
If a notification does not arrive
Check that notifications are allowed for SetToGig in your device settings, that your device has a connection, and that you are signed in to the expected account. Open the event in the app to review current updates even if a notification was missed.
